Srs. Kathleen and Brenda join children at Camp Lost and Found...

Srs. Kathleen Nealon  and Brenda Marie Brunston joined 83 children and over 60 other counselors for Camp Lost and Found June 3-5th.

Camp Lost and Found is a bereavement camp for children who have experienced the death of a person significant to them.

The weekend included different bereavement activities to help the children deal with the many emotions felt while grieving as well as fun activities like swimming, sports, a campfire and a dance. "I wanted to volunteer because I know experientially how difficult it is to lose a parent at 30 years of age and can only imagine what it must feel like to lose a parent at 6 or 12. I found that the children were as much of a healing presence to me as I was to them." remarked Sr. Brenda Marie. 

Camp Lost and Found is sponsored by Holy Redeemer Health System through Trinity Hospice, part of the former Visiting Nurse Service System of South Jersey.
